Alden Ehrenreich

Alden Caleb Ehrenreich is an American actor. He made his feature film debut in Francis Ford Coppolas independent film Tetro and appeared in Coppolas subsequent film Twixt . In 2013, he appeared in Woody Allens Blue Jasmine, Park Chanwooks Stoker and starred in Richard LaGraveneses Beautiful Creatures. In 2016, he starred as Hobie Doyle in the Coen brothers comedy Hail, Caesar and will star in Warren Beattys Rules Dont Apply . In 2018 he will star as Han Solo in an as of yet untitled Star Wars spinoff film revolving around the characters younger years.

Ehrenreich was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Sari , an interior designer, and Mark Ehrenreich. His stepfather, Harry Aronowitz, is an orthodontist. He is from a Jewish family , and was raised in Reconstructionist Judaism. His parents were both passionate about film and Ehrenreich grew up watching a lot of movies.
